Gathering Nettles for drying, a very good way to store this spring product. I use gauntlet gloves to handle the plant material, always harvest Nettles as young developing shoots early in the season. I rip off handfuls of tips from well established nettle patches, of which we have many. I gather them in a large bag to return home with then I go through them picking out any other plant material as I put them in the drying frames. Here they will dry in a dark but warm roof space to retain full colour but dry quickly, the roof being wared by sunlight.
